Not only is the color green the pantone color of the year (Greenery to be exact) , it’s slowly becoming one of my favorite colors to wear. I love pairing it with navy or yellow. When I saw this green silk wrap dress at Banana Republic last month, I knew I had to give it a try. It is a little low cut but there is a small button at the top that keeps it from plunging too low. I opted to still wear a tank underneath, just because I didn’t want to chance the button coming undone. Of course I waited for the dress to go on sale and snagged it for 40% off.
It was still a little chilly out when I took these photographs so I threw on my thrifted gap denim jacket. This dress could easily be paired with a cardigan or worn alone. It can be worn to work, out to dinner, church, or even date night, the versatility makes it a great investment.
The leather shoes are also Banana and I picked them up in the dead of winter for 26.00!!! I love finding sandals in the winter, and they are always at least 75-80% off retail price. Another great thing about the color is the endless assortment of shoes you can wear with it. Gold, navy, nude are just a few colors that come to mind.
So by now you know that I’m totally a fan of this green wrap dress and give it two thumbs up!!
