This post has nothing at all to do with the outfit I’m wearing (I will list the outfit details below) but mainly I want to talk about the hair accessory I’m wearing.  Since I decided to go natural I have been having such a love/hate relationship with my hair.  Some days I can get it to look great and other days I literally want to order up some hair and schedule a sew-in appointment as fast as I can (I’m being totally honest here).   Sunday morning I woke up and I was having one of those “not so great natural hair days”.  I had previously planned to take a few photos in the afternoon and since it was so beautiful outside I didn’t want to cancel.  What did I do???  I remembered the cute printed scarf that I purchased a few weeks ago and thought to myself, “I can probably make this work as a headband”.  Spray bottle, gel and 15 minutes later, I was rocking a curly afro and a super cute headband.

A scarf is probably one of the most versatile accessories you can own.  The one that I’m wearing in the photo can be worn around the neck, on a handbag, or even on your wrist as a bracelet (I will definitely have to try this one day).    You can definitely be as creative as you want.

Needless to say I didn’t let a bad hair keep me from enjoying a beautiful afternoon outdoors!
